Mr. Kirsch was one of the outstanding men of his community and was far above the average in intelligence and excellent qualities. Many friends, among them the Editor of this paper, will long revere his memory, for the kindness of heart and helpfulness. Mr. Kirsch was above all a true man of the highest character where friendship ever burned warm. He made a study of astronomy and for many years had prognosticated the weather for Mountaineer-Herald readers with remarkable success. Our most sincere sympathy is extended to his faithful helpmate through a long life and the family.
